I've never even seen a world with technology at that level, though I've heard of people who reject modernity to live a simpler life. The Republic spans the stars in the sky on countless worlds, travel between them is as simple as booking passage on a transport.

I myself have set foot on at least ten different worlds, though all of my travel was due to missions assigned to me by my superiors.
