Hello,

I suppose I should introduce myself, it seems like the done thing on arrival.

I'm Newt Scamander, I'm from England. I'm led to believe that magic, and magical creatures, are no strange thing here.

I'm a wizard and a magizoologist. Which is just like it sounds, I care for magical creatures. Rescue them, collect them, help them, educate others about them. But you know, if you have a domestic cat with a cough I'm sure I can take a look at that as well.

Okay, I think that's all for now.

Oh - Sirius? I got the right case back! I'm sure you are delighted for me.

	No, no, it's a magic suitcase, it's bewitched with an Undetectable Extension Charm. All of my (real, not toy) creatures are in there, that is why I was so upset that I may have accidentally switched it with another case. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I think that is the spell to make secret compartments. I would be very sad if I lost that suitcase! Do you have a dragon? Mr Selwyn used to have a dragon. Does the suitcase have lots of little holes in it? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Yes, on a very large scale. Going inside my suitcase is sort of like visiting a magical safari, I suppose.

I don't have a dragon at the moment, no.

So they can breathe? Clever idea. No, I have created different habitats within the compartments, with the best air for each species in a pocket dimension. The case is just a case, and it even has a little button to make it 'muggle worthy' if anyone ever tries to open it that shouldn't.

	Oh that is remarkable! ~~May I see~~ Yes I thought they might need to breathe but the real way it is sounds much nicer for them. Do you have any creatures from the Frozen North? No, I don't unfortunately, the would be quite the adventure! I have travelled to five continents, but I have yet to traverse the ice of the Arctic. I'm sure I can tell you some exciting tales from other places, like the jungles of Peru perhaps.

The creature you might find most thrilling at present might be the Zouwu from China. That said, I'm very fond of bowtruckles and nifflers myself.

	You have been to Peru and China? I would like to hear about your travels one day please. They are probably almost as exciting as the stories about Frederick Crabbe! I have! But I actually found the Zouwu a long way from home, traveling with a circus that was performing in France. They didn't treat her right, so I took her in. They're huge yes, and fast, but just like a big kitten really!

Lovely. I have a favourite bowtruckle who likes to ride about on my lapel, he has some attachment issues. You'll see him with me some time, no doubt.
