Hello.

It is my very first day at school tomorrow. I have never been to a proper school before, so I am excited and a little nervous at the same time.

Is there anyone here who will be in my class? I have English first with Mr Torrance and Miss Belle.

Hello old Mr Torrance,

Are they not enthusiastic? That's a shame. I will try my best to motivate them, sir.

I don't think I am going to Mr. Dan Torrance's class as I have no need for telepathy lessons.

I look forward to meeting you tomorrow,

Philip Hamilton

Hello Mr. Hamilton,

I'm afraid they aren't, they complain about homework. Most of them wont be in class tomorrow, though. I don't know if your father in formed you, but sometimes weird stuff happens on the station, and people travel back and forth in time. Currently Mr. Tozier, Mr. Kasprak, Ms. Stone, and Mr.Denbrough are all adults.

That said, we did just finish our last book, since they're gone do you have any suggestions or preferences?

I look forward to meeting you too,

Jack Torrance

Mr Torrance,

I know that my dad father will insist on my studying either way, so it is better if I have something particular to complete. That is a lot of students who are adults right now, so I think I will have a quiet first day.

No, sir, whatever you think is suitable I will be glad to read. What was the last book, if you don't mind my asking?

I look forward to meeting you too.

Mr Hamilton,

That's a wise outlook. This way, when you're homework is done, your after school time is yours to do with as you will. I think a quiet first day is a good way to start.

It was one that's not out in your time, I'm afraid. It's called "To Kill a Mockingbird." I think we will discuss which books could be next in class tomorrow, and I'll give you a copy of the last book, if you'd like. But you might need to have your Father look at it before you read it.

Jack Torrance.

Mr Torrance,

Thank you, sir.

I will take it straight to my father as you suggest.

(ooc - the book will be returned the next day, Philip just shakes his head, but there is a post-it that clarifies it is not the level but the content Alexander objects to.)

Mr Hamilton,

Okay, thank you. I want you to do this with all the books I give you, if your Father has objections we'll find you alternates instead, alright?
