I am sorry that I woke some of you before. It is a long time since I have been here, or written in this language, and I did not realise what had happened to me.

I was back in Kordala for more than two years, and very much changed.

I do not think much time passed on this side, but you must tell me if there is anything I have missed. I will carry on with the teaching of magic, for those who wish it. I also want to begin a class, or at least a group, for battle magic if there is anybody who needs to keep their skills from fading.

No, never.

Eh, Spanish is better.

That impresses me.

If you ask me, Kordalan is the best. Lots of people here seem to speak Spanish.

I think you might be biased? But that's okay, because I am too. And yes, they do and it's great! It reminds me of my grandmother. Mi abuela.

In Kordalan you would say that as ninammani. My grandmother. Of course I can be biased, when I am far from home! It's good that you have people to speak your language with, even if ninammati - your grandmother - is not here.

You could teach people Kordalan. If you wanted to.

Ninamma - grandmother
-ni - My
-ti - Your
?

Yes! Very good!

And if you want mother and not grandmother, that is just amma. Ammani is my mother, and dattani my father.

Do you think anyone would like to learn Kordalan? I would love to teach it, but will they want to, when they cannot visit?

Nindatta - grandfather.

You could ask. I know people learned Jake's language, Na'vi. And there's always a chance you could get a door home.

Almost! Nindatta would mean a grandfather who is a woman! Eludatta. But I see your working. If you were in Kordala you would be understood even if it is not quite right.

If there were a door, I would go through it, but I wouldn't ask the people here to follow me to war. But it is a nice idea. I will ask them, once I am settled.

Okay, cool. I didn't think "grand" would be gendered. In Spanish, "my grandfather" is 'Mi abuelo'.

Well, you saw what happened when Enjolras got his door. The only reason I didn't get involved is because I was 6 years old at the time.

It is not 'grand' in exact translation. It is more a respectful term. Ninsha and elusha are names for respected persons, some might have called me Ninsha Tavehi like some people called me Miss Tavehi here, but it is not exactly the same because not every woman is ninsha.

If I teach a lesson I will find a better way to explain these things.

Are mother and father ela and elo in Spanish?

I did, but looking back we were extremely lucky not to suffer casualties in France.

ah, okay. Is -sha the honorific? I'll go to your classes.

Mother - Madre
Father - Padre

I don't actually know what happened in France beyond "fighting". Like I said, I was 6. I was more concerned with where Mouse was taking me.

It is. I'd be very pleased if you did! I think you'd do well at it.

And maybe I will learn a bit of Spanish. I'll remember those.

Yes, six is absolutely too young to be involved. Don't worry about France. We won.

My classes are open to everyone who wants to learn.

Or, Mis clases están abiertas a todos los que quieran aprender.

Is the order of the words the same? Can I say 'quieranmi aprender'?

No, you'd say Quiero aprender.

What sort of fight are you proposing?

I was anticipating fists, but now I'm thinking about it more logically... maybe a game of Uno.
