It's all my own fault, really. I did insist on going on and on about the strange happenings on the station. I was tempting fate, and how fate laughs at me now.

It's something that has to be implanted in your arm, and I need some of your DNA to make sure it's keyed directly to your hormone levels. But both are quick and relatively painless.

Very well. The idea of it would have horrified me once upon a time. It helps that I’ve grown to trust you, too.

Well... to be honest you probably be horrified, you're from the 1800s, do you know the horrifying things they did to people in the name of "science" back then? But I'm glad you trust me, I'm not running a science experiment just want to help out a friend, because I remember what it was like when I shut my implant off. And I might have missed you a little.

Somewhat. Funny what you accept as normal depending on your time.

Thank you. I’m glad to call you a friend.

Oh, and I’m even more glad to see Commander Crawley has returned to the station. You deserve that happiness.

If I was a solder in your time and suffered the same injuries that I have through my career... I'd be a human sized potato.

Hey, same here Darcy. Even if I probably still make you twitch.

Thanks a lot. You don't know how...

A very lovely potato I'm sure, but yes, a potato nonetheless.

More than almost anyone, I think. It's quite the skill.

I am happy for you both. This place needs more good news.

Aww thanks Darcy. If I blushed I'd be blushing.

I'll behave... for a little while anyway. Or as much as I can. If it helps I don't drink anymore.

Well, you, Hem, and Enjolras were the start of the good news. It was definitely a darker place without you.

Hi. My name's Miguel O'Hara, and I'm a geneticist. I'd like to see how you work with people's DNA for your birth control to operate correctly. Would that be alright with you, ma'am?

Oh, sure. It's mostly automatically done in the medbay of my ship, but you can come watch it do it's thing. If it's alright with Darcy that is. I'm Shepard and I'm a soldier with the Alliance Navy.

That's great, thank you.
