This can't be real.

I'd have guessed that I was in the Fade and had fallen prey to a demon trying to tempt me, but I suspect a demon would be offering something more appealing than being trapped in the sky among the stars.

This place seems vast. I was told there were others. Is anyone reading this?

	God, no! Oof, in my world, long ago, we had this thing called "The Crusades" and they did horrendous things in the name of God. So, no, not a fan of Templars. And, aw, shucks! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Horrendous. That sounds like them, although saying so would get me a night in the underground cells where I grew up. Templars had the job of making sure we mages didn't leave our tower or go on demon-possessed rampages or think that our magic was anything other than a sin and a curse. They called it protection. I called it prison. The Maker knows what we suffered, and what they did in His name.

	Yes, very. But, we don't have those types here. Everyone here so far as been very friendly and upstanding. I'm so sorry you had to go through such an experience, but you are safe here. 	You are very sweet to say so. I taught magic to apprentices in the tower, but I have no doubt that there was some knowledge that was kept from all of us, regardless of rank. Now I can learn whatever I please. (Reply to this) (Parent)
