So I kinda figured I should do something around here to help out, right? I'm a computers guy. So if anyone needs any tech support or help with computer stuff, hit me up.

I dunno where else I could help, honestly. I wanna spend some time getting to know the station and everyone here, especially now that things have settled down. Things are normal...

Drek, I'm so sorry for everything that happened. I hope people can forgive me. I stood by your sides against Higgs in the end and I won't lie, it was difficult going against the guy that gave my life a second chance, you know? But everyone here gave me a home. You guys became my new family.

I'm rambling, I know. Just... thanks for everything and I hope I can help out.

Greetings, Chaos. I am glad to see that you are alright, I hope the holidays were good to you, and you are doing well.

I can not speak for everyone here, but I do not blame you, so there is no need to forgive you. Higgs was charismatic, and if he had not shown his hand so soon, he might have gotten what he had wanted.

While I do not necessarily need help with computers, per say, I am in need of a partner in my lab to help run diagnostics and the such. Do you have any interest in Robotics? I would greatly appreciate your help.

Do not guilt yourself over it. This situation was on him, not you. As you know there were others here that trusted him at first as well. Before what he was up to came to light, I might have as well. I am still working on a solution for the other stations' problems.

Excellent! Do not worry about not knowing, I am fond of teaching others. I am sure it will not be difficult for you to "learn the ropes" quickly. My lab is in the University on Wheel 3. [Gives Chaos directions.] Please message me before you make your way there.

I think what matters now is: you saw what he was, and no matter how frightening, you chose to side with us. You could have taken the easy route, the safe-ish route, but you didn't.

I have a question, how good are you at teaching youth? Though I don't really know how old he is...

Everybody's right thing varies. Some might have chosen the more self preservation route, and that wouldn't be the wrong thing, it's what brought you here to begin with.

He's not exactly a child. I don't think, but he needs someone that knows technology better than I do. I feel me teaching him would be cheating him out of something, I've been a recluse for a very long time and I'm not as social as my mate and daughter would like. So I don't know all the odds and ends that could be handy.

I can help, sure. I know a lot of the station tech from my own and I've been learning more about this version of all the hardware and software. And I can show them some of my own tech too. So who is it?

Trust me, I know.

His name is Dean, he is a dragonkin. That is to say a humanoid dragon. He has to use a tablet because his fingers are too large for a phone. I have it so that he can use voice to text, and text to voice, because he can't read, I don't think.

Awesome! We had a Dragon President for a short while. Like, way too short.

Yes I am. One of my grandparents, or great grand, was full blooded dragon. I couldn't tell you if they were maternal or paternal though, I owe my knowledge to science and a very good nose.

Well, since you'll be his teacher I thought you could set the time and the place. It'll also help him learn his way around.

I wouldn't have known it if it wasn't for my mate. He gave me an opportunity that I couldn't refuse.

That works! And it will teach him to go from here to there if there isn't something in the house that he likes to eat to... Oh. Er. That reminds me. This is very important, if you hand him anything that you don't want eaten, you must stress that it is not food before you put it into his hands.

So, Dad says there is a group of people on Tz'teña who might try to bypass the security systems on the station. I don't know if it's done the same in your universe but the station shoots everyone who is not us down - I don't know why it makes an exception for us but it does. There is still a lot of valuable tech on board and while 50 years ago the firewalls of the station were state of the art, they currently aren't anymore. Dad says there is currently about a 50/50 chance they will succeed.
