We got a new door, people. It's going to Derry, Maine in summer, 1989 (it's August, but I dunno the date yet. I saw a calendar when I went through), and we have it until November 14.

It opens up into a library, so everyone's gonna have to be quiet when they go through. I got a glare from one of the librarians a couple minutes ago, so, yeah. Door! It's beside your bookshop/library, Bill.

I was not insulting you, I was insulting him. You're a god, not a man. I haven't forgotten that. ~~In my grief~~

I have been fighting almost as long as you have been alive. Mortal and immortal, human, and magic creature. I could fight blind, deaf, and numb. And I know his world almost as well as he does. My mind is centered on where it needs to be. Supporting him. And ending an abhorrent... thing.

He has been my grandchild for decades and you suggest he had to go alone if it weren't for you. That is an insult. I have mentored this boy despite his mortality. I have nurtured his strength wherever I could. My daughter and her elf will support him in anything he chooses to do. They would walk through fire for this kid. So would I. So would Shannon. Mind you, Shannon is more likely to cause it.

I will leave now. There are more important matters.

No, I suggested that I wasn't going to stand down no matter who said it, god or man. Which is what I thought you were telling me to do, which is what I thought you were going to do. You came at me, claws out, assuming I would take something from him.

The difference between you and me? I would lay down my life for all of you, even with that tie broken. I would even if I did not know you. Even if you had not saved my daughter.

This is something I have wanted to do for decades that have already passed for me. Before I knew Bill as a person. Because poor Georgie was taken, and devoured by this monster. And no child deserves that. ~~I only hope that this is soon enough to save him.~~ I'm not saying my reasons are better than yours. Just that we are no different.

I didn't stop caring Loki.
