It just occurred to me in the absence of my housemates-

So same-sex marriage is permitted in the future? How wonderful. When did this come about?

Things have certainly changed since my day.

	I am glad for you. Yes. Yes, thank God. I lost him for many years. So many years. But now he is here again. I hadn't contemplated the idea of marriage. I just found it interesting that it was so widely accepted. Similarly the acceptance of our kind of relationship.
