It just occurred to me in the absence of my housemates-

So same-sex marriage is permitted in the future? How wonderful. When did this come about?

Things have certainly changed since my day.

	I am glad for you. Yes. Yes, thank God. I lost him for many years. So many years. But now he is here again. I hadn't contemplated the idea of marriage. I just found it interesting that it was so widely accepted. Similarly the acceptance of our kind of relationship. 	I'm sure it varies by universe, but in mine it was at the start of the 20th century. Some countries and a few states in America have legalized same-sex marriage, and I think some also just have "domestic partnerships" because... they were scared of getting gay cooties all over traditional straight marriage?
