Can whoever is harassing my cow please stop.

It's winter, there's not a lot of grass. She's not happy.

Please cease your pestering. Please.

Christ, what have they done to your cow? Is it time to enforce that bestiality rule after all?

Harassing, Mr. Tucker. I'm not filing a sexual harassment case for my cow. She's fine.

You didn't specify the type of harassment. I'm just concerned about the poor thing.

I promise, should anything of a more serious nature occur, I shall inform my local MP.

I wouldn't bother, if it's not a council cow, I doubt they'll be interested.

She's tied to council property. Does that count for anything?

I'd keep that quiet, before you know it you'll end up having to get a fucking parking permit for her or something.

Re: Cow Tax

It is to my knowledge that no tax exists for livestock within Great Britain, including that of their 'emissions'. However, aforementioned cow shall no longer be tethered to council property, as I am erecting her a shed.

Planning permission not yet granted for lack of post office

Re: Planning Permission

Building a detached garage/shed of less than 30 square metres floor area would not normally need building regulations approval if:

The floor area of the detached garage is less than 15 square metres.

OR

The floor area of the garage is between 15 square metres and 30 square metres, provided the garage is at least one metre from any boundary, or it is constructed from substantially non-combustible materials.

I hope that helps.

Mr. Tucker,

Both of these are incredibly helpful to me.

You have my vote!

They're doing what to the cow, Sherlock?

Milking her. She's not ready to be milked. She's not eating enough.

Maybe we should build a shack for her. With locks from our future.

Well that is certainly an interesting prospect.

What do 'locks of the future' entail, if I may ask?

I'm sorry that someone is molesting your cow.

I said harassing. Not molesting.

Definition of MOLEST

1
: to annoy, disturb, or persecute especially with hostile intent or injurious effect

Definition of HARASS

1
a : exhaust, fatigue
b (1) : to annoy persistently (2) : to create an unpleasant or hostile situation for especially by uninvited and unwelcome verbal or physical conduct

So roughly the same thing

Okay.

Thank you for your concern. I think she'll be okay. As long as people stop trying to milk her. We have shops for milk.

But thank you.

I was using only the first definition.

Everyone, or at least, most because you're such a special snowflake, only knows it by the second. So your argument is still invalid.

How is my argument invalid when I used the word correctly? Just because most people don't associate it with the first definition doesn't mean it's an incorrect one.

Or, you know, you could have stayed out of it given that Sherlock here accepted my use of the word.

Honey, he humored you.

Considering you know who he is, you'd know he's an exceptional mind, greater than yours could ever be. So don't even try.

I couldn't really find the energy to put in to debating whether or not it was a British thing (/European/slightly North African?) to use the term 'molest' to solely mean the second definition. We don't use it to mean anything other than to imply unwanted sexual actions.

So whilst the dictionary definition is of course inarguably correct, culturally we rely on the second definition as our primary one for the term 'molest'.

Still doesn't mean I was wrong to use it. Just means that culturally it's not used that way. That's all.
