Hi there, sorry to interrupt, but I'm hoping that some of you might be able to help me. In light of recent events, I'm looking for some volunteers to form a focus group to help give me a picture of the current public attitude of the island, and where you feel we stand on certain issues. You don't have to attend anything, you can simply respond through the net. Now, I don't want this to turn into a fight, the point is that it is an open platform to speak your mind, and we mustn't judge each other on this.

Unfortunately, I have no means to reimburse you for your time, but if you would like something like a kit kat or a cup of tea, you just let me know and I'll arrange it.

If you are interested in helping, you'll find my starting question beneath the filter. At this time, I am filtering the group to over 18s only due to the nature of this particular group, but that's not to say that I don't value your opinion, and I may require a wider demographic at some point in the future.

Just to get things started, I'm interested in gauging the current attitudes towards sexual activity on the island. I'm aware that we are all from different time periods, and this is bound to have an impact.

What would you consider "too much" with regards to sexual activity?

Just to give you an example from past focus groups, some of the responses have included dogging, badgering, rimming and bear-baiting, to name a few. Where do you stand on these? Is there anything else you would consider unacceptable?

Items raised during focus group-

We are currently in agreement that paedophilia is unacceptable. There is a need to discuss legal age limits.

Pegging has been raised as a potential issue.

Dogging and voyeurism raised concerns, as did public sex in general.

Bestiality may be considered too far.

Possibility of sex education on the island- perhaps raise this issue with the medical staff.

It's none of my business to know what people consider too much? Then how will I know when I've gone to far, and the whole island is suddenly against me, eve though people weren't willing to be transparent to begin with?

I'm not forcing anyone to respond. If they think it's none of my business, then there is no need to participate. But I appreciate you taking the time to share.

	If you don't want backlash don't screw someone else's person and don't make a spectical of yourself. You're not gonna get two people here to agree on anything and unless you're into letting strangers telling you what to do this is pretty much gonna end in disaster. You can't please everyone here. What would you consider making a spectical of yourself? Are you saying that voyeurism is too far, then? And presumably you agree that dogging is too far?

The point of a focus group is not to force there to be an agreement, it is simply a listening platform where everyone can be heard. There is no requirement to participate, and it's not used to form legislation or anything. It's just for listening.

I've found that is true for most places.

	I don't think asking everyone about their sexual kinks is really sailing under the radar. Just do it on the quiet. No one bugs me about what I do and I do it a lot. Poeple around here likes to get into everyone else's business. Don't make it easy for them. (Reply to this) (Parent)
