Yes. There is a lot to see out there.

I would not be happy with it, what your father and I have goes beyond anything I ever imagined for my life. But that does not mean that it does not work for others. The kind of relationship someone wants to lead does not need to stick to the norm. In other communities monogamy does not even mean the norm. A relationship should make you happy and make the person or people you are with happy.

Are you comfortable with the idea?

I think I am? It's not what I pictured for myself, but I never really saw myself in any type of romantic relationship. I used to think all relationships were a mistake, because I saw so many people lose the ones they love. Polyamory makes sense for that reason. I wouldn't be totally alone if I lost one person. I'd still have someone to share my love with.

No. You are safe. Admittedly, the occasional disaster still happens. But now we can run away if we choose so.

If your father had taught me one thing, then that that love does not make sense. Follow your heart and let yourself fall. If that is with multiple people, then that is with multiple people. But you don't have to force that either just because you met someone who prefers this way.
