So what's everyone up to? What's the status of this place?

I saw that but after so much time it's hard to put a meaning to the date.

Exactly.

We've been here less than a year.

It'll be even easier since you were still helping me adjust my style to being smaller and weaker than I used to be. I'm probably the shortest adult on the station at the moment.

Ah, now that helps. This place is still very young then.

Not to sound overconfident, but that you are short will be the least of your problems.

Yes. Are you still here in your time or did you go somewhere else?

Well I'm glad we'll be able to get some exercise if nothing else. Don't bruise me too bad?

Oh no, we moved away a long time ago. Living out there on a real world, it's amazing, JR.

I won't. I promise.

It'd be nice to live under open sky again. I miss my house.

Thank you.

Have you thought about moving away?

Maybe one day. All my family and friends are on this station though.

Hmm, yes. Is your family content here?

Well we haven't really talked about it. If we found a planet we liked maybe we'd go.

But if you think about it we had it pretty easy on the island and here. All the food and creature comforts we could want without having to pay a cent. I've been in worse places.

Maybe our times were different. Maybe our preference are different. I would not call life on the island easy. Yes, there are places that are far worse. But there are so many better places. Visit Callodian, visit A'Brae, visit Cthitchman. Those are good places.

I'm not saying I'd never leave Kat. Or not try to encourage the family to go elsewhere.

Just... keeping things in perspective I guess.

Just pointing out that this universe isn't that bad. I have spent my life travelling it.

I always felt like a prisoner on the island. Your children are lucky that they were able to grow up differently.

I... didn't feel that way growing up. There were always doors to someplace interesting popping up when I was a kid and we never needed to worry about food or shelter. And when I was stranded in New York I did until I ended up in the Corps.

But it should definitely be by choice rather than that being the only option available.
