A few more months and hopefully he'll be old enough it won't interest him.

Thomas the Train is bearable. Anything will be lousy after having it on repeat all day long, but that one is less likely to make you want to strangle the kid or hurt yourself.

Thank God for that.

Oh, I'm very familiar with Thomas. Thomas is his true passion.

Enough you could recite episodes by heart huh?

He might be old enough you could try watching Looney Tunes with him, that might be fun. Bugs, Daffy, and Wile E. Coyote never go out of style.

Yes, definitely. But it's not so bad. Slightly funny that it was the first time I'd seen television, though. What a bizarre introduction.

Really? Those old shorts are still around? I remember Daffy, but not the others. Not a bad shout. We'll see how he takes them. I assume they were updated to color at some point?

Really? Wow that would be a bizarre introduction.

Oh yeah, they kept making them into the 1960s with the original voices. Tom and Jerry too.

I had been trying to win over his mom around that time. Becoming speechlessly mesmerized by her kids DVD wasn't my strongest move.

That's incredible. I guess it is pretty timeless comedy. I'll see if I can convince him.
