[A young, somewhat panicked voice can be heard]

Am I being punished? Is this like one of those island prison places? I wasn't going to use it. Honest.

[Brief pause and then a muttered..]

Americans over-react so much.

[Louder and almost pleading, speech fast]

There wasn't even a working core! I told you I'm not a member of some "pre-teen organisation".

This sucks.

[Longer pause, then absent murmurings, almost as if talking to self and forgetting it's an open call]

Although, this device is pretty neat. I've not seen something like this. Took me a while to figure it out. Huh...  it's like a phone, walkie talkie and computer all in one. Huh. I wonder what the mechanisms inside are like... Maybe I could take it apart and see...

It's a phone. It's really old compared to what I'm used to, but it's easy enough to use.

This isn't prison. Or home or school, it's loads cooler. It's got proper food and stuff, too.

What was your project?

Phone, walkie-talkie and computer in one. Old? It looks like something out of Star Trek to me. What the hell are you used to?

Well, I didn't choose to come here. I don't even remember coming here. Just woke up in a weird place. Oh god... it's not camp is it?

A replica atomic bomb. So much cooler than the other kids with their volcanoes and mini rockets.

Better than these things. Like, they're all clunky and there's no 3D and they still measure the memory in GB, and they're really really slow.

Nobody picks to come here, that's how it happens. And it's not camp either but I think there's gonna be one sometime soon?

Why'd you make a bomb?

What? That's crazy, they haven't even refined all that yet. Unless they have and they're keeping it secret. Which wouldn't exactly be surprising but still. Unless you're part of this pre-teen organisation they keep asking me if I was part of?

Sounds like prison. Urgh, I hate camp.

Because I could and it got me an A. It wasn't even working, you couldn't even make a small bang with it, the core was missing. Which is what I told that CIA agent, but he wouldn't listen.

I'm not part of any organization. And this is still not prison or camp.

Did you learn it from school or did you work it all out?

If you say so.

I worked it out myself. It's not exactly something they teach in school.
