He is the easiest kid, for you or... he was for Him. It's as easy as talking to him. Don't talk to him like he's a baby, he doesn't respond to that. He'd just tell him about hunting trips and... stuff like that.

He was better at being a Dad than I was at being a Mom. If that tells you anything.
