[Message to Miguel and Dr Cuddy]

Mr O'Hara, Dr Cuddy,

An acquaintance of mine here informed me about the tiny organisms called Germs, which sully the air and one's hands, or even blood, and can cause certain diseases.

He said that one of you might be kind enough to help me to observe these Germs for myself. In Pretannica we knew the value of cleanliness, but this is a new theory to me.

Sincerely,

Caspar Leyton

Mr. Leyton.

I'm from 2011, from a country called the United States of America. Though it may have had a different name in your world. Medical technology has come a long way. I'll show you as much of it as I can.

That's good to hear. I'm always happy when someone is willing to take care of their health.

Dr. Cuddy.

Dr Cuddy,

I think that I know the place. We call it Appalachia, although that is a comparatively recent development and it was the Pretannic Colonies of Ameryk until after the second war. It must be similar to your United States of America. The similarities are sometimes striking, but with enough differences to unsettle.

But we are here for medicine and not history! I shan't bore you with it. When would you care to meet?

- Leyton
