I'm glad you now know people you do. I grew up thinking I was a freak. With strange powers gifted by this place. I knew I had ice and frost inside of me but I didn't know why or how it might effect others. There was a time when I stopped hugging my friends because I thought I might hurt them. Not having someone who can explain to you your abilities and how to deal with them can be a great burden.

I completely understand. In my family, my sisters and I were given a gift when we turned 5, but we were the first. There was no one to ask for advice.

I wasn't helping. I grew to be feared, and so there was a point when I decided to withdraw. From society, from my family. I hadn't been in contact with another person in about ten years until very recently.

I'm still very wary of physical contact, and my social skills aren't always excellent.
