My career change plans are on course. I have three interviews this week for apprentice positions at various firms in London. I am going to spend my time between now and finding a placement reviewing the wizarding code in relation to domestic issues. Hopefully, by this time next year I will be preparing to sit for the bar exam, which I admit is an ambitious timeline.
I am eternally grateful to Jo and Cal for being such incredibly supportive friends through this. |

i think it's time for a holiday
my back is sore and my hands are cramping
i've at lest finished the piece for the anthology submission
and the piece for the gallery, so
the last tick off the list for a while
feels like a glass of wine is due, at least

In honour of our lovely snow moon tonight, I thought it might be nice to try and get to know each other a little better through a game! We used to play this sort of thing often in camp, usually with either hard hitters or 'scandalous', but I think I will start it off with some simpler ones and you can decide where we go from there.

I am very pleased to announce that I will be moving into The Commons on March 1. I signed my lease today. The movers have been hired to move my bedroom furniture from the townhouse to my new flat on Monday.
It will be interesting to have roommates for the first time since Hogwarts. |

You know, the current climate might be a good reminder that we're pretty lucky to have things like shelter and warm clothing. So in the spirit of making the most out of this, there's this cold weather shelter in muggle London that I occasionally work with to so if you have any spare warm things (in good condition please!) I 'll happily start up a collection box and take it over the first chance I get. I know they'll be greatly appreciated! One of my dad's old service buddies runs it now, so why not clean out those wardrobes if we're going to be stuck in for a while, yeah? |

Got to cuddle a niffler for a while today, so that was pretty fantastic. Poor love had a broken leg, but got him fixed right up. Always wanted one as a kid, didn't quite understand why we couldn't have one in the house. Now I laugh at the idea of one trying to make off with all the shiny things we keep in the house, considering it tried to make off with my watch. I forgive him though, he was really very sweet. |

I was going to spend the day doing what I fantasize about some days at work, spending the day alone in the quiet doing absolutely nothing at all. That lasted about ten minutes.
So I've taken some of my crafting things to the common area should anyone feel like having a few hours of crafting time. |
