Marcus wasn't really sure why he cared at all. It wasn't like he was seeing Lily, and it wasn't like the Malfoy match was a bad one for the girl. If anything, it was a good, pureblooded match and certainly not something someone like him could top. Maybe it was because he knew part of her actually liked him, or because he'd been sure he'd been in there with a shot. In the end, he'd asked, no demanded, that Lily pop over. This way at least he could take his frustrations out on her.
