WHAT: Six decides to do a bit of exploring. As per usual, trouble seems to find her.
WHEN: 10PM
WHERE: The Serpent's Den
RATING: TBD
STATUS: In Progress
Six was not happy about being randomly transported to another planet that she couldn't leave. Even with all of the talk of being returned to the point in time she'd left, she didn't like the idea of leaving Number Four on his own and certainly didn't appreciate the upheaval without so much as a word of warning before it had happened. Her life wasn't all happiness and sunshine back on Earth but it had still been her life. Having it disrupted left a sour taste in her mouth and made her itch to find something to take it out on.
However, being the new girl in town meant that she needed to behave until she got her footing. The word on the street was that there were some pretty powerful forces at work in Colligo and she really didn't want to go looking for trouble only to bite off more than she could chew. So instead of picking a fight with the first person who looked her way, she opted for a different route. She wasn't much of a drinker, so the bars didn't catch her eye, but she definitely enjoyed a touch of downtime now and then. And those she spoke to said a good place to relax and have a good time, even if you didn't drink, was a nightclub known as the Serpent's Den.
Arriving just after ten o'clock, Six had to admit she was impressed at the number of people who were there on a Tuesday night. Apparently the place was pretty popular with various walks of life, although the 'relatively young and single' crowd seemed to make up the bulk of it. That was fine with her because she easily fit in with that particular stereotype. Plus, the music was good and the place had an energy about it that she found she enjoyed. In fact, she was enjoying herself quite a lot - simply dancing on the floor with whatever guy happened to be closest and interested - when that aforementioned trouble decided to come skulking along without benefit of her even looking for it this time.
It all started innocently enough. A guy asked her to dance, she accepted, and they made their way to the floor. Then some other guy came along, demanding her attention and not wanting to take no for an answer. The first guy did his best to defend her honor, or at least she assumed that's what his intention had been, only to wind up with a broken nose for his effort. Which might have been amusing, truth be told, if he'd done anything to deserve the punch to his face. Since he hadn't, though, and had been nothing but nice to her, Six felt almost obligated to get involved at that point. So the second the guy who didn't know what 'no' meant turned back to face her, she did what any self-respecting girl would do.
She doubled up her fist, punched him in the face, then grabbed him by the throat and lifted him easily off his feet and well over her head.
The crowd immediately began backing up to give her a wide berth as she glared up at the guy who was doing his best to claw at her vice-like grip while also choking on the blood from his busted nose and lip. Six simply smiled, spun on her heel, and tossed him effortlessly off the dance floor. Before he had even landed, she had teleported to the tables where he was going to crash and caught him. Setting him on his feet, she grabbed one of his arms, twisted it behind his back and, standing directly behind him, yanked his head back so his ear was close enough to her mouth that he could hear her over the music and cheers echoing around them.
"Get the hell out of here before I really lose my temper, cowboy," she said simply, offering him that single warning before releasing him with a shove. Fortunately for him, he was smart enough to listen and took off with a running stumble that made several onlookers burst out laughing while also applauding her efforts. Six, meanwhile, simply tugged a bit on her leather jacket to straighten it once more then headed to the bar, having decided that maybe it was time for a drink after all.
