Who: Piper & Chris Halliwell
What: Lunch & the grilling that comes with being a mom & son
When: Noon today
Where: At a nice little café/restaurant place
Rating: TBD.

Lunch had been arranged rather last minute; though most things in their life were. At least here they could have an attempt at normalcy; though the Chris in her life currently was still a baby, but being a witch -- and getting to know Chris from the future -- made her son being an adult already normal. And that didn't sound crazy anymore.

Chris had been here for a while, long enough that she had a lot of questions; how could she not? She'd been getting to grips with the place with the week or so that she'd been here. Paige had helped and Prue... she wasn't sure that she'd see her again, not alive anyway. Since she'd died she hadn't seen her, and she understood now why but bringing her here? Piper had to push that thought away, gather anything that she thought that she needed for lunch - and to think of every and any question that she had. What had he been doing, how was he, how was his charge?

The walk from the apartments to where the main shops were didn't take long; everything had been conveniently placed close together which was nice. Very homely. They didn't have a reservation but thankfully it wasn't that busy. The waitress saw her to a table where she waited, ordering just a glass of water for the time being.

Piper had barely ordered her water before a waitress brought it to her, along with Chris. She'd expected to be there for a few minutes; to gather her bearings and to think of those mothering questions that she hadn't really expected to ask for at least twenty more years. But here they were, and at least she'd get good at the tough questions.

"Chris." She moved her glass to the side, giving him a warm smile and standing up to greet up. "Aren't you going to give your mother a hug?"

Strange was a word that didn't factor in on her vocabulary anymore and having a son close to the same age as her seemed to be expected; if magic planned to throw anything else at her, she wasn't sure if she'd be surprised or not.
