Bo, what have you gotten me into this time?

There are clans back home, but I'm just... not in one. I was found running around as a kid and got taken in by Doc Dr Magnus. She specialises in studying abnormals, so I work for her now. We keep tabs on them, I guess - sometimes people fight the fighty ones. It kind of sounds similar to what you guys do back home?

But like I said; i'm just the in-house computer geek.

'Light or dark'? That sounds a bit Star Wars ominous.

You were separated from your clan as a child? That's virtually unheard of, in my world.

And yes, I guess it does sound a bit ominous. Bo would definitely agree with you and works tirelessly to point out how very neutral she is every chance she's given. That, also, is virtually unheard of in my world.

I don't really remember what happened, to be honest. But there you go. I'm almost completely sane, so clearly it didn't do too much harm.

Don't you ever have a teeny bit of a problem when it comes to picking a side? What if someone picks one side but then decides they'd rather be on the other? Sounds like a minefield to me.

No offence.

You're very fortunate. That is hardly ever the case, where I'm from.

No offense taken and you're right. It is a minefield the majority of the time. But until Bo came along, no one had ever openly dared not to pick a side. As a child, that's what you're raised to do. It's what's expected and refusal means certain death. As far as having a problem picking sides, more often than not families tend to stick together. Light with Light, Dark with Dark. There are neutral areas as well but typically, once a Fae has chosen their side, they remain loyal to it. There are always exceptions, of course, but they're few and far between.

I suppose that makes sense. Mental sense, but sense. Makes the Sanctuary seem almost normal But you're right - I was lucky. Sounds like I had it quite easy. Apart from the 'Oh, hey! You're a werewolf!' thing.
