Wow, is it 25 years ago already?

I don't remember learning that time was cyclical in any of my physics classes. Shouldn't have had to pay for those degrees.

You'll have to forgive me if I don't remember which of you were still around at this particular point in time. I'm much too important to keep track of this shit myself. Has Star Trek 12 come out yet?

Now there's the Stark that I know.

Harper! What's a guy like you doing in a year like this?

Babs and I were both brought back here sometime last week. You were a teenager and you had a lot of hair.

Barton was also a kid, but he's back to his 2012 self now. Loki is a kid though and Darcy is a teenager.

Hey, mom.

I realize that while you may have wanted to see the kind of man I turned out to be, this is probably not how you anticipated that happening.

No, that's next year.

God, it's good to see you.

Told you Asaph wouldn't let you come back here without sending Tony back too.

And by told you, I mean that I didn't actually say anything, but I was definitely thinking it.

I'm pretty sure we've established you're not a telepath, dear.

Leave the mental communication to other people.

I'll take that as a, "Why, Tony! You look far too young and dapper to be 67." And I'll have to kindly remind you that Peggy might not be comfortable with our public displays of affection.

It's good to see you, too. Although for me, it's only been about 12 hours. Separation anxiety?

Jeez, this is weird.

A lot longer than 12 hours, Tony.

Remember how I don't exactly age?

Considering I just turned 125, I'm going with no. I haven't seen her for years. But I'm sure she's around here somewhere. Asaph isn't about to bring you here and not her. That'd just be horrifying for the rest of us.

Of course we would end up in the past now. It couldn't be next week, when you have a clear schedule.

I swear, sometimes I think you do these things on purpose.

Well, if we tell the investors that I was temporarily in the past, I'm sure they'll understand. You are very persuasive.

Contrary to what I may have told you when I hired you, Ms. Edison, I am not actually good. I'm sorry if this comes as a bit of a shock.

I am very persuasive, aren't I?

I promise you, Mr. Stark. It isn't a shock. And I will, once again, remind you that I haven't been Ms. Edison for over fifteen years. Oh, what's the point

Trust me, I was a very impractical fetus.

Obviously you never attended a dissertation by Peter Lynds. Not that that's a bad thing, necessarily. The man had some interesting theories, particularly in regards to Zeno's paradoxes, but he really liked the sound of his own voice.

And welcome to the past, Tony. Glad you finally made it.

Yeah, it's possible that I attended one of those, but I definitely didn't retain anything.

It's good to be back. Sort of, anyway.
