A minute ago, I was dead in a demon bar and now I'm here. Answer seemed pretty simple. Holding hell dimension. City backdrop, people know nothing, weird ass sentinels keeping you out of places you aren't supposed to go.

Except I'm alive, not brainwashed to think I'm a nice family guy, and they don't give you PDAs with access to message boards.

What the fuck is this place? And more importantly, how do I get out of here? I've got scores to settle.

What kind of a job does a ghost hold down? Tour guide? Kind of sounds like my ex-bosses. Figure they'd be smart enough to realize we only start shit with 'em if they give us the material to work with.

Depends. If there's a beating, torture, being shot or strangled, or all of the above in my future, I'd rather go back to that dark oblivion.

This really just the town no one can escape from that it looks like?

I've got something more interesting, actually. Shit, this is great. Back at home I couldn't tell anyone anything, I just vanished from sight of any nercromancer if I tried hard enough. But the guy I live with when I'm not working is a lawyer. Yeah, you still need damn good lawyers when you're dead, for some reason.

Dead is not dark oblivion. Well...I shouldn't say that. I have no idea where you'll end up.

	Depends on the lawyer. Most of the ones that deal with the Supernatural are bastards. No offense to the one I happen to be with meant. Ah. I didn't get sorted, I just got dumped into an afterlife. Sounds about right. It comes with the job. If you're not some kind of a bastard, you'll be eaten alive. Literally being a possibility as much as figuratively.

I'm not sure how I ended up where I did or if that was it. All I know is dying, dead, oblivion, library, steps of library.

Shouldn't be too hard, unless you've got a real yen for conversation and no one else is around. You don't seem like you'd hit that level of desperate.

This isn't the afterlife. Guess you got snagged before you could end up there. There's people from my world here who are very much alive.

I don't do desperate. I've met stuck ghosts that are more interesting than them. And those ghosts don't acknowledge your existence.

	There's all sorts of lawyers, that's mostly what they're known for, though they're all sorcerers. There's half-demons and others, but they don't usually get the cushy jobs. 	Witches could practice Sorcerer magic if they want, of if they were strong enough. Most don't, it's a big no-no. Part of the reason I had so many fans when I was alive. Did I say I was an Angel?
