A minute ago, I was dead in a demon bar and now I'm here. Answer seemed pretty simple. Holding hell dimension. City backdrop, people know nothing, weird ass sentinels keeping you out of places you aren't supposed to go.

Except I'm alive, not brainwashed to think I'm a nice family guy, and they don't give you PDAs with access to message boards.

What the fuck is this place? And more importantly, how do I get out of here? I've got scores to settle.

	They really didn't want you making any trouble, did they? Dead, undead, demonic, spellcasters, human. They all need a good lawyer representing them. 	Depends on the lawyer. Most of the ones that deal with the Supernatural are bastards. No offense to the one I happen to be with meant. Ah. I didn't get sorted, I just got dumped into an afterlife. Sounds about right. It comes with the job. If you're not some kind of a bastard, you'll be eaten alive. Literally being a possibility as much as figuratively.

I'm not sure how I ended up where I did or if that was it. All I know is dying, dead, oblivion, library, steps of library.

Shouldn't be too hard, unless you've got a real yen for conversation and no one else is around. You don't seem like you'd hit that level of desperate.

This isn't the afterlife. Guess you got snagged before you could end up there. There's people from my world here who are very much alive.

I don't do desperate. I've met stuck ghosts that are more interesting than them. And those ghosts don't acknowledge your existence.

	Your live in partner there must've worked for Wolfram and Hart. That's their definintion of getting the pink slip. Stranger and stranger. 	Cabals. Secret mafia of the supernatural world, right? I knew they had lawyers on retainer but I've never actually heard of one joining up. Selling your soul for a six figure salarly and ungodly benefits is a surefire way to go. Other than that, it seems like you have to a be a real evil, soulless bastard to get sent downstairs. 	There's all sorts of lawyers, that's mostly what they're known for, though they're all sorcerers. There's half-demons and others, but they don't usually get the cushy jobs. 	Witches could practice Sorcerer magic if they want, of if they were strong enough. Most don't, it's a big no-no. Part of the reason I had so many fans when I was alive. Did I say I was an Angel?
