	I don't know the man, so I can't really judge for sure what his motives may be. He might genuinely be their friend. However, it is a technique that kidnappers use. It's possible. 	He's not a kidnapper, Mary. Mister Dean and Miss Claire know my mommy. She's not ~~hear~~ here right now but when she was they came over sometimes. They're real nice and if my mommy trusts them then they have to be OK because my mommy ~~don't~~ doesn't trust nobody that'd hurt kids. (Reply to this) (Parent)

Yeah. And that little girl is my mother, who is currently turned into a child. Since I can't exactly tell her that without her freaking out, I had to improvise. But I didn't lie. I was friends with her parents, my grandparents, before they died.

Maybe from now on you should just keep out of other people's business.

Also? If something happens to her because of what you said? I'm holding you personally responsible. Just so we're clear.

At least she'll know for the future to be wary of the things strangers say. That wasn't my intent, obviously, but I try to see the positive.

Perhaps she would have, but perhaps you shouldn't have chosen an excuse used by pedophiles and murderers to mislead children. I'm sorry, you probably aren't either of those things.

I will take responsibility for her if I must to make sure she is safe, but please be clear that I can snap your neck with my bare hands if you decide to threaten me.

It's the truth, you moron. It's just not the whole truth, because she's too young to get that.

It wasn't a threat, blondie. It was a promise. And I'm pretty sure my count with killing threats is a lot higher than yours.

Now stay out of situations where you aren't wanted.

I'm not sure exactly what to count as kills for me-- what I've done with my own hands? What I've made possible for others to do? I'd answer it honestly because I have to, except that I don't honestly know how much of this blood is on me.

If Mary doesn't wish to speak to me, then I won't speak to her.

There are terrible people in the worlds. I don't think she's too young to be mindful of that. One of them could use the words that you did, and they often do.
