I guess I'm grateful that these things aren't Walkers, but that doesn't make them any less a nuisance. Sure puts a bit of a damper on the holidays too.

I feel like there should be some organized effort to get these things under control. Hunting parties come to mind.

Nuisance is an understatement. But when I haven't been shooting at the ones that are getting into the station, I've been using the ones around town as target practice. Some of my trick arrows have come in quite handy.

This might get a chuckle out of you, but I have tried the humane approach and attempted the 'catch and detain' approach. Of course that backfired.

I find it ironic that this should happen just when I thought I could finally celebrate a Walker-free holiday with my family. Whoever runs this place sure has a strange sense of humor.

Did you use a box propped on a stick with a carrot underneath? If they couldn't just slip through the bars I'd suggest that we could detain them in the holding cells.

What I have learnt in my time here is to always expect the unexpected.

At first, but I learned the hard way when it comes to how intelligent those creatures are.

All of this makes me curious about what is in store for all of us in 2012.

So, uh, not to point out what might already be obvious but... there's an organized effort of sorts taking place here. Just thought you should know.

And I have to ask. What is a Walker?

Really?

[sent moments later...]

Oh. I must have missed it, having gone out and started hunting these things down the moment everything went to hell. I need to get used to living in a place that's populated by actual living people, which brings me to your question.

A Walker is what we call the zombies where I'm from. There were Walkers everywhere back home. It's been a while since my family and I have been surrounded by so many of the living.

Zombies, huh? That sucks. There was already a zombie invasion here so, if you're lucky, they won't make a repeat performance.

But yeah. We are all pretty good at stepping up to the plate when a threat pops up in the city. Sadly enough, Gremlins are one of the easier issues we have had to deal with.

As odd as this may sound, another zombie uprising wouldn't be too big a deal for me or any of the others from back home. The undead have become a way of life for all of us there.

I believe any issue can become a manageable with a strong support system, and seeing how everyone responded to these gremlins is really nice. A place like this city is actually what all of us back home have been looking for.

Dude, rule one when it comes to Colligo. Nothing sounds odd compared to 'trapped on another planet where all realities intersect'.

I think you are one of the first people who actually sounds happy about being here. Not sure if that is a good thing or not yet, but at least it's different!

Oh. And before I forget, since I always do over this stupid thing. The name is Ashley Magnus. Nice to meet you.

To be honest, I was skeptical when I first found myself here. But now I have my family and friends here. We no longer have to worry about running out of food while being on the move. We've got a roof over our heads and living in a city full of people. What's not to like? Normal life's got its shares of catastrophes. The ones here are just taken up a notch, but I'd readily take them on any day.

I mean, my son's actually going to school here. I never thought I'd ever be able to say that again, with how things were at home. Seeing the kids happy again is priceless.

And my manners have left me too. I'm Rick Grimes. Nice to meet you too, Ashley.
