Some of them do. Death is present at every birth, and every passing. Delirium...well. If you've ever known someone who was just a little bit mad, then you have seen her fingerprints. Destruction abdicated his position about the time you lot learned how to split the atom, but Desire and Despair often go hand in hand.

Desire is quite literally fond of meddling in other peoples affairs. Including mine.

	Destiny is blind, but sees all, yes. And I should think you already know how my sister, Death, carries out her duties. Desire sees people and their ever changing and oh-so malleable wants as objects for his or her own amusement. 	Youthful. Pale. Dark hair and eyes. Some might describe her as "perky goth." People do tend to dream about that which they desire. I believe she was there for your first time. Dying, that is.

There is a man named Hob, who decided he was going to live forever. My sister agreed to let him try it, and I meet him every hundred years or so, to see if he is ready to die. He happens to be one of my oldest friends. But several residents of this city have also met an aspect of Death, and been returned to us afterward.
