Why are there antlers everywhere? Belle? Did you do that?

The cold white box is full of eggs, too.

[Snarling] I was just asking!

[he stops and forces himself to sound calmer] I, I mean. It wasn't me. And... And they're everywhere. There's seven sets in the bathroom.

Seven sets? How do they even fit?

It wasn't me, but I have my suspicions about who it was.

Some are on the ceiling.

Was it one of the voices from the machine?

The ceiling? Did you hit your head?

No. But if we're here, I think he could be as well. In which case we're really in trouble.

Not very much.

We are in trouble?

He's even more irritating than - well. Than anybody else I know.

[he laughs quietly for a moment] More irritating than I am?

...Well, he is very irritating. And I'm sorry, that was unkind of me to say.

You haven't met Cogsworth. He is irritating. [he sounds incredibly amused, for once]

[he pauses after that, and has a few false starts before saying everything in a bit of a rush] Have you been through the rest of this house yet? I found a room full of books, and a room full of canvases and paints! Everything was in boxes, though, so I moved the antlers out of both rooms and put things away. Is that... I was helping.

Who is Cogsworth?

I've looked around a little. I don't know why there's such a big bed in the one bedchamber. And the books! I... may have spent a little too long with them. And forgotten to eat.

It's good that you helped. Thank you.

Cogsworth is my majordomo. He means well, but he can be ...irritating, yes.

[he hesitates again, but not for as long as before] You should eat. I found some food other than the eggs, but I don't know how to make it. There is bread!

I suppose it takes all types. I know the people in my town find me rather strange.

I'll make something, then. Would you like me to show you how?

[His response is oddly soft-spoken] I don't think you're strange. And yes.

Please.

Oh. Thank you.

Why don't you meet me in the kitchen, then, and I'll show you how to make something.
