Hello all! Cheryl here, and I’m new to the game! My first character here is Rook (a nickname, though it’s the only name she really uses anymore). She’s a Dalish elf who only finished half her vallaslin before she ran away to see the wonders of the world.

She’s a rogue/bard who makes her living as an entertainer - at least, that’s what she says when people ask her. In reality, she’s mostly a thief. Watch your pockets. She’s bubbly, talkative, curious to a fault, clingy, affectionate, fun.

Throw all the plot my way!

Ahem, yes, HI! I'm Maaya, one of your friendly neighborhood mods. LET US PLOT.

First, I have this girl Noëlle, who is also a bard! And part elf, though at present this is only a suspicion she has, unconfirmed. She's got a lower tier Orlesian title, but she's been hanging around Nevarra for a year, playing at politics (and espionnage). She's got more secrets than a Swiss bank, I am sorry, please let her drive Rook bonkers with this. Also, glad to have her stolen from, though she'd got the training to come steal it back whoooops (am suddenly imagining a protracted theft back and forth of like, a hair comb). Mostly fun and cheerful until she stabs you. Up for a good time. Adjusts her personality to circumstances.

Next, Caspian aka Cas (

unfavored), the guy with lousy, lousy luck. He's a necromancer with the Wardens. Used to be a Circle mage but he screwed that up for himself by drunkenly raising a zombie with his bff. Prior to the circle, was actually heir to the Archduke, so he's a pretty close cousin to the king buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut has zero political aspirations/influence as his family has erased him from their history. Drinks with dwarves a lot. Falls in love on a dime (it's a problem, okay?). Not sure how to connect but he hangs around in taverns when he's not Wardening so it's a start????

Finally, Narazda, the HBIC of the local Merchants' Guild (

deshyr). She's..... got more important shit to do. BUT HEY SHE HAS MONEY AND JEWELRY. Though her place is trapped and guarded and she will shank anyone who messes with her sooooooooooooo MAYBE NOT?????? But she hires unsavory types for guild work off and on sometimes so.... maybe a possibility of some work coming Rook's way???

Oh man, it would be fun if they were friendly rivals? Rook steals for fun as much as for gain, and a pal to steal back and forth from sounds like her weird idea of fun.

When in doubt, she could pick pocket him for plot? Or get drunk with him? Possibly both at once. XD

Rook is pretty anti-getting-shanked, but she is more than happy to be your unsavory-type-for-hire.

Hahahaha I can see it. Friendly at least to a point so Noe isn't tempted to slip her some poison so she doesn't have to keep stealing her damn hair ornaments back........ So we probably need to get them introduced first and getting along (IMPROMPTU DUET?) before this thieving starts~

He has so little of worth to steal, the guy is a minimalist. Buuuuuuuuuut I am thinking the tavern is a good bet! And lol, she can be annoyed when all she steals is something useless.

Okay, consider Narazda a periodic employer, then~ Someotimes, you need something stolen, you know?

Hi! I'm Vicki and I play a dwarf lady, Midha Aenoch (

cloudgazer), a Grey Warden and not at all happy about it. She used to be part of the Carta and ran with other criminal gangs up until the point she got conscripted a couple of years ago...... so super shady lady, Midha is, but she's not a mean person if she's not trying to kill you. She's pretty friendly actually??? And loves to drink and eat and gamble when she doesn't have to do Wardeny things. Honestly, Midha might be like O-o at Rook because so much positive energy, how do you even exist girl, which basically means we need to throw these two at each other. XDDDD If Rook entertains in taverns and pubs, they could maybe meet or have met there~?

In a week and a half I'm bringing in a City Elf who I feel like will get along swimmingly with Rook. Definitely we need to throw those two together because I feel like they'd be great friends. But next weekend, we can discuss more, unless you want to talk privately in which case feel free to email me!!

Hi hi! I'm so glad my advertisement worked :D Welcome to the game, I'm Julie and your PB is so cute I can't even stand it. The tattoos are so perfect. Anyway, I have two characters:

CASSIDY

duelist: Probably the most relevant! He's a 32yo elven assassin with the Crows, originally from Antiva though he's traveled a lot for the job. He's a city boy born and bred, and so doesn't have much connection to the Dalish heritage / would be intrigued by her vallaslin. He seems like a quiet, taciturn grumpycat on the surface, and is utterly horrible at smalltalk, but reveals a drier sort of affection for his friends. I think Rook should be like a bubbly little puppy that he pretends to be irritated by but secretly likes. :')

OLIVIER CASTILLO

necromance: 45yo human Circle mage and Mortalitasi, total bon vivant who loves life despite (or because of) how closely he works with death. Charmer. He'll be totally delighted and distracted by her entertainment, so FEEL FREE TO ROB HIM. He doesn't have all that many valuables on him since he's in the Circle, but he's got a gambling problem, so on a good day would be carrying around more loose coin than usual. :]

	IKR? I'm so excited to finally get to use her. I am so down for this! She'd actually be p curious about life as a Crow/city elf/EVERYTHING ELSE but if he doesn't want to talk, it's cool, she can hold up a conversation all on her own. Duchess Isolde van Markham (this journal) - Human. Noble. Likes to host fancy parties. One of the big political players in the city. The King is staying at her house.

Oswulf "Oz" Tranador (mrconviviality) - Dwarf! Warrior! Likes to flirt! And drink! And sleep around! Also is a member of the Carta. Not big on Dalish right now because a group of them shot him full of arrows not that long ago. His fault, but oww. :(

Ilshae "Shae" Alerion (notmycircus) - Elven rogue. Assassin. Antivan Crow. Formerly Dalish! Not the nicest of people you will ever meet, but if you have something of worth, she's like sunshine.

Rook will be super friendly to Isolde, and a little starstruck because she's so pretty ~~and shiny~~ but she's still not used to the idea of nobility and may not show the appropriate deference.

Rook just says, "Aw, Oz, why you gotta be like that? We could have such fun!" She might decide to be the Dalish that changes his mind!

Omg, I feel like Rook and Shae have to interact somehow? I love that their stories kind of star off the same way, then go really different places.

Eh, Isolde won't be fussed so long as Rook isn't overly familiar. There are lines, after all.

Yes :D They totally do. Shae totally wants nothing to do with the Dalish. Or the city elves. Or people in general. So clearly we mus toss these two at each other.

Hi Cheryl! I'm Dee, nice to meet you. I have three and I'm not sure how much interaction she'll have with them but WHY NOT IT IS ALWAYS POSSIBLE. :D

This is Ashi Myrrdin, she's originally from Orlais and a noblewoman who came down with a serious case of magic. So she's been in the Cumberland Circle ever since. She's a spirit healer and kind of the mother hen of the circle with the younger mages. She probably won't have much interaction just beacuse she doesn't leave much, lol.

I have Vathra over at

herownhero, she's an elf Artificer with the Antivan Crows. Typical Crow, taken from slavery as a child and trained to kill. She's an archer and kind of tumultuous. IN the sense that she can be fun to be around and drink with, but she can also turn on a dime. She's a lot smarter than her hot headed attitude would imply. Anyway she DOES hang out in town sometimes and knows how to steal herself, so she'd be like lol about Rook. She'd probably really dig her attitude, tbh. SO she might reply to her on the network and such!

Finally I have Luren Malra at

violentbydesign, he's a dwarf blacksmith and member of the Merchant's Guild. He's actually super friendly and gets along well with everyone in town. He's high spirited and chatty and makes pals easily with people. The Dalish elf stuff wouldn't even make him blink, no prejudice here, although he'll sigh at you if you try to steal from him. But yes! He gets along well with rogues and bards most of the time. :) WELCOME TO THE GAME

Rook would be friendly to Ashi over the network, and probably v curious about the Circle.

She'd also probably pal around with Vathra. Drinking buddies? rogues4lyfe.

Luren definitely sounds like her kind of person! She probably wouldn't even try to steal from him, because she tries to keep the nice people nice - not everyone is so nice to elves =/. She might not be able to control herself around shinies, though, so if he's got any gemstones for sticking in hilts and whatnot, maybe just cover those up.
