First Day Plotting Post

First Day falls on the first day of Wintermarch and marks the beginning of the new year. The day is celebrated with visits to neighbors as well as communal feasting and merriment. The king will also give a short address to those who care to assemble near the palace. There will be no group IC starter as there are so many different things going on over the course of the day, but this post is here to help you plot out whether your characters meet up and of course to see what celebrations are happening around town!

Alienage

As mentioned in plot cal, the Alienage is having a huge drunken party full of merriment at its tavern. It starts as early as 6pm, but don't expect the party to start getting into full swing until about 7pm or 8pm. Party will probably start dying down around midnight (most of these particular partygoers have to work first thing in the morning), but it technically won't end until the last drunkard is kicked to the curb. ;)

Lots of dancing, weak ale, terrible food, and actually decent music, provided by one Euria Ghrian. Elves only, but even the 'outsider' elves will be more than welcome here ~~for once~~.

Cassidy took up Sorin's invitation for this party, and made grand use of the time to bond further with his neighbours, even if he was an awkward cat nursing his drink in the corner. I bet some outgoing city elf girl demanded that he dance with her and he was mortified, but then put Noe's lessons to good use!

He didn't join the dock party, but was probs at the alienage festivities until midnight before wending his way home.
