Embassy Ball Plotting Post
As the Orlesian Ambassador announced here, there's a shindig going down at the Orlesian Embassy this Sunday! This plotting post is going up early to give you an opportunity to decide what you'd like to do and pre-log if so desired!

As Manon stated, the ball is open to anyone, though if you show up looking very scruffy, you'll get some Looks, so do try to look your best, please~
Weapons will be checked at the door.
Most of the doors will be locked, but the guests will have access to the ballroom, its balconies, and the gardens if they so desire. Anyone who wanders off down the hallways will eventually be found and politely escorted back to the party.
Duchess Aurore Valmont is the guest of honor! This is an opportunity for her to take Cumberland's measure.
A small chamber ensemble will provide music for dancing, for those so inclined.
The food will be set out buffet style and replenished at regular intervals. Expect all manner of Orlesian oddities, and of course, a truly impressive dessert table. They're Orlesians, after all.

Pilar is here, with a fabulous appearance mixing mostly black with gold embroidery to add some color, but with various lighting, you see some other autumn hues. She will be socializing around with various people, especially some of those more her age. She will not be dancing very much, but she'll talk with most people.

Asmund came for Caspian's sake, will probably hang around him (and any other wardens) mostly... and the food table. He will eat a great deal off of the various tables. Possibly talk some with Alia since he knows her too.

Sabrina is here as part of the delegation, and she is NOT PLEASED AT ALL with the timing. She will spend as much time as she can dancing, though she'll storm off to a balcony after dancing with Olivier. If she can force you to dance against your will and you're good, she will probably try to do so.

Marin has come looking splendid. He brought Noëlle on his arm, and he will enjoy catching up with anyone he can.

Aurore is the guest of honor. She will, of course, check in with her Orlesian friends and allies, as well as with many of the Nevarrans, such as Aurelian himself. And she will be friendly with anyone from Tevinter who would like to speak with her.

Sandrin and Reha are coming together, wonderfully dressed. He is happy to speak with most people and will be polite to all parties present. He's having a good time, representing the guild and wooing Ms. Melra.

Souvelani will pass on coming. She does not have anything close to appropriate to wear. And she doubts her daughter would like it if she came.

For Asmund: Also Caspian! Ziya??? They're supposed to know each other and she needs things???? If you want, Noe too (if we finish other stuff fiiiiiiiirst).

Also Noe is relieved that Souvelani didn't go but I am sad, hahahaha.
