When: Week 11, Wednesday, mid-morning.
Where: DeWitt Manor
Why: Magic is not working for Lucien. So when he gets frustrated he has to reorganize his books, but there is a book out of place.
Warnings: Language, more to be added.

He could not get water to work for him. He had been reading and reading and reading for over a week on how to master controlling water and it was not working. He was so pissed and needed to calm down before he yelled at Nate. So he went to reorganize his books. Even though they were in perfect order it was something that soothed Lucien. Something that he could make sure was perfect.

He moved through his books and everything seemed to be in the right order and it started to make him calm down until he got to the Qs. He only had two books in the Qs and yet there was three. He took the offending book out and his angry rushed back to him. It was so stupid, just a simple mistake, but in the mood he was in Lucien could not let it go. He turned to where Nate was sitting by the window.

"I have told you so many times, Nate. Why can you not fucking put a book in the right spot?" He folded his arms. "Is it too much to ask of you do something right, other than fucking me?" He held the book out. It had a little 'the' in the title so that meant it belonged in the Ts. Again simple and silly, but Lucien had had it would the fucking world and how everything was not working out, how he was not good enough to learn something that children did. "This belongs in the fucking Ts, Nate, not in the fucking Qs!"

Lucien snorted, let Nate be the one to turn it around. "I try." He said, kissing back. "But I still feel like an ass, yelling at you for something that was not really your fault." He kissed him again, and stroked his hair. "I'm just afraid...well I am always afraid, but I am afraid you are going to get frustrated with it." He sighed. "Did you know I was going to try to get into Emerson's liquor vault of doom earlier, but you stopped me."

He kissed back, not thinking he was. Had it not been for Nate he would be in a drunken stupor or being chewed out by Emerson. He was not strong at all, but he had Nate who was strong enough for the both of them.

"Don't be proud until I give you something to be proud of." He said, magicking the book Nate had been reading over. "And I am sorry I took the book away." he said, catching the book and sitting to the side of them. "You are so smart and beautiful and wonderful and awesome and everything else that goes along with that."

Lucien had said it was Nate who stopped him but Nate hadn't done anything, it had been Lucien really. He'd allowed himself to be distracted by Nate which had taken his mind from the alcohol.

"Hey" Nate turned Lucien's face towards him, "You are doing so well, look how long it's been since you've had a drink. I am proud of you"

The smile was brighter as Lucien used his magic, it was obvious he enjoyed watching it. "Thank you my love" he said linking their fingers, "I'm not that special but I'm glad you think so"

He tried to smile. Yes it had been so long but Lucien was getting to the point that he was about to go steal some liquor. The only way he got through the day was Nate. Looking at Nate he knew he couldn't be drunk again. He was not going to hurt the man he loved ever again. Well by drinking that was. Lucien hurt Nate on a daily bases like to day.

"You are special. Even if no one ever saw it but me. You are special." He kissed his hand and then Nate's lips, it was a slow and gentle kiss. His other hand cupped his cheek.

"But I think the OCD is not calming down." he said against his lips. "Do you think you can get up enough energy to make out? We don't have to have sex, but I am still not ready to get up."

Nate was proud that he hadn't gone as far as trying to steal it though, no matter what the reason he'd been distracted. He did make a mental note to do more things with Lucien, keeping him busy would hopefully help.

"So are you" Nate said against his lips before they kissed sweetly.

"I always have enough energy to make out with you" Nate assured him before going on to prove he did, pulling Lucien flush against him. One hand resting on the curve of his ass while the other was wrapped around his waist as he kissed Lucien deeply, passionately and as always with love.

It made him feel good and warm inside that Nate said he was special. He had never felt special in his life, unless he was drunk and being fucked by who knows how many men. But with Nate he was special for just being himself and the best part? Nate loved him even though his past was fucked up and he was sometimes very mean to his boyfriend.

From Nate's point of view when you were in a relationship you took the good with the bad and didn't give up because of an argument or a harsh word said when someone was angry. He loved Lucien with all of his heart and would never give him up easily.
