Who: Nate and Lucien
When: Week 11, Wednesday, mid-morning.
Where: DeWitt Manor
Why: Magic is not working for Lucien. So when he gets frustrated he has to reorganize his books, but there is a book out of place.
Warnings: Language, more to be added.

He could not get water to work for him. He had been reading and reading and reading for over a week on how to master controlling water and it was not working. He was so pissed and needed to calm down before he yelled at Nate. So he went to reorganize his books. Even though they were in perfect order it was something that soothed Lucien. Something that he could make sure was perfect.

He moved through his books and everything seemed to be in the right order and it started to make him calm down until he got to the Qs. He only had two books in the Qs and yet there was three. He took the offending book out and his angry rushed back to him. It was so stupid, just a simple mistake, but in the mood he was in Lucien could not let it go. He turned to where Nate was sitting by the window.

"I have told you so many times, Nate. Why can you not fucking put a book in the right spot?" He folded his arms. "Is it too much to ask of you do something right, other than fucking me?" He held the book out. It had a little 'the' in the title so that meant it belonged in the Ts. Again simple and silly, but Lucien had had it would the fucking world and how everything was not working out, how he was not good enough to learn something that children did. "This belongs in the fucking Ts, Nate, not in the fucking Qs!"

Nate knew Lucien could get frustrated with his magic when it wasn't going well but he didn't know that had happened today. He'd been sitting by the window reading about the history of magic, hoping to learn something that may help Lucien when he'd suddenly been yelled at.

Looking up he frowned at the book, "But it's..." he began before trailing off, "...oh, theres a little 'the' isn't there" he sighed and stood, "Let me put it back properly then" he said holding out his hand for the book. He always reacted calmly, never raising his voice. He didn't like the things Lucien said but he didn't mean them. Nate knew that, even if they did still hurt.

"And what, so you can fuck it up again? I thought were smart, that you could read, but it seems you are just a pretty face. Don't you ever touch my books again." He walked over and grabbed the other book that Nate had been reading. Why couldn't Nate just think. It was always something that Nate did that upset him, it seemed that to the only think they could do without yelling was sex.

"Get out my room. I don't want you here, fucking up everything that I am trying to accomplish. I don't need a fucking human fucking up everything!"

	Nate gave up the book but his eyes remained on Lucien the entire time, something had obviously frustrated him to the point of anger. His guess would have been some kind of spell but he'd find out later. Right now he needed to deal with this. "It is my room, I am the master! You are just the slave. You do what I tell you to." He took his books back to the shelves, but he had already organized the session that the magic book went.

"Fuck it, fuck it all." He threw the books on the floor and started ripping the books off the shelves, letting them fly all over the place. He couldn't stand it, he could not stand being good one moment longer. He couldn't stand being a failure. He was a witch he should be able to do any spell that he thought of.

	Nate closed his eyes for a moment but ignored the words and stayed where he was. But when Lucien started flinging his books onto the ground Nate moved forward quickly, wrapping his arms around Lucien stopping him, "No my love, no. "No I'm not." He said, his voice catching in his throat. "I'm worthless. I can't even fucking control water! It's suppose to be the easiest, but I failed. I fail of everything." He pushed Nate's arms and moved away from him.

"I'm done with this." He said, turning to walk from the room. He was going to get into Emerson's vault of booze if it killed him. He was tired of his mind racing and everything not working. Everything worked when he was drunk, the world was so simple and easy.

	Nate moved quickly to stand in the doorway and stop Lucien leaving, "You are not worthless and you are not a failure" he said firmly, moving his hands to cup Lucien's face, "You are incredible and you will succeed. "How can you be so fucking calm." He said, tears welling up. "I am always yelling at you, but you are so fucking calm. Why can't you just be angry back?! Just fucking move. Everything will be right soon enough." He said, pushing at Nate. "Get out of my way you fucking slave!" Then he gasped looking at Nate.

"No I didn't mean it I promise. You are my love, my Nate." He was always screwing up. He always messed up. He had told Nate that he was not a slave to him and yet he had just said, he had said so much and perfect Nate was just taking it.

"I am angry" Nate replied, "I'm fuming. But not at you. I refuse to take my anger out on you. Then we'd both say things we'd regret and I don't want that" he said honestly. Nate had never been a particularly calm or angry man, he'd always been fairly laid back.

When Lucien gasped and looked at him with those eyesvwhich held frustration and anger but also regret and sadness he pulled him close. Nate wrapped his arms around him and held him tightly, "And you are my Lucien" he said pressing a kiss to his hair, "Always"

"I'm always fucking up and you are just...I didn't mean anything I said. This is our room and you can read my books and you are smart." He hugged Nate tight, never wanting to let go. "I didn't mean one word of it. I am just so damn frustrated. I study and study and nothing." Oh he longed for a drink. He wanted to be numb.

"I just want to be numb again. I don't want to feel anything. I don't want think. I just want to let go and fill bliss again."

"It's okay" Nate soothed hands running up and down Lucien's back, "I know baby I know. You'll get there I promise" Lucien did some spells with such ease, like covering them with blankets and retrieving things. Nate wondered if he wasn't succeeding because he was trying too hard, maybe he needed that loose limbed rekaxed feeling instead of the tense concentration that Nate could feel running through him now.

"I can help you" he promised, "You won't feel nothing but I can guarantee bliss and thoughts of nicee things" He pulled back enough to look at Lucien and kiss his lips.

	Lucien kissed back, still holding him tight. "How can you still want me when I insulted you? You should hate me, I would." Granted Lucien could never hate him, no matter what he said to him. He loved Nate. He was the only thing right in his world (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Lucien put his arms around Nate's neck, kissing back just as softly. He would never forgive himself for what he had said, but he would always try to make it up to Nate. "What do you want to do?" He asked against his lips, kissing at them once more. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"I wish I was half as wonderful as you are." He smiled again his lips, wanting to be as wonderful as the person Nate saw. He started to pull him back towards the bed, tripping over the books a bit and coursing himself for being so messy. His OCD wanted to clean up now, but his heart wanted Nate. 	"I'm not that wonderful Lucien" Nate told him, when he tripped over the books Nate swung him up and into his arms. Holding him close he took them over to the bed and lay Lucien down on it carefully, "Do you need me to tidy them up?" he asked softly, knowing Lucien's OCD would be more heightened than usual with his emotional state. "No." He shook his head from the bed, trying to pull Nate down. "I don't want to get mad again and I probably will. Just leave them for now. I want you, and nothing else." Even if Nate just stacked them up Lucien would still have a problem. Better to have him mad at himself then at Nate.

Nate went easily, wanting to make Lucien happy. "Okay baby, you have me, you always have me" he reassured his lover smiling down at him and kissing his lips while one hand stroked his cheek.

"You are perfect and loved" Nate said, "And I will prove it to you" He promised before he kissed Lucien once more, deeper this time as he straddled Lucien and his hands slid up under his shirt to stroke over his chest and nipples.

	Lucien kissed him for all he was worth, wrapping himself around Nate. He moaned when Nate touched him. "Yes I want to be loved. Want you so much. I have been so stupid. 	"I'm going to love and worship your body" he told Lucien, there would be no taking out of anything. "And I already forgive you my Lucien. 	He did wish that Nate would take it out on his body, but he also knew that he wouldn't do it. "I wish I could forgive myself." 	Nate would never be able to do something which in his eyes would be hurting Lucien. He had no reason to take anything out on him, Naye understood that he couldn't deal with the anger and frustration which built up inside him. 	Nate shook his head, "You need me. I'll never leave when you need me" he said resting his chin briefly on Lucien's stomach as he spoke. He wanted Lucien to have the reassurance of Nate touching him, loving him.
