So this is Earth? It really exists.

Your gravity is strange, different to Caprica and Galactica.

Are you surprised about Earth because it’s something you only heard about in bedtime stories or because in your world it got blown up by some giant intergalactic weapon?

It was definitely a bedtime story. Or scripture if you’re that way inclined. No, it was our twelve planets that were wiped out by intergalactic weapons. Rendered uninhabitable, not completely destroyed, if you want to be technically correct.

I did. A small fleet of survivor fled from the planets after the destruction. But the Cylons chased us from our own system, they're still trying to destroy us.

It happened about a yahren ago. A year in your terms.
