I'm used to the bloody, shocking, and other deeply unpleasant version. That doesn't mean I'm entirely desensitised to it. Or not still hoping this is some horrifically odd dream.

Well, I try to avoid blood for a whole variety of reasons.

It's not a dream. Trust me. I mean, it could certainly be worse. I won't lie, if my husband was here, I probably wouldn't complain half as much.

It's unavoidable when you decide to become a healer, unfortunately. That said, I prefer blood to some of the other things I've been covered in.

Having m a familiar face certainly eases the shock, admittedly. I'm sorry to hear about your husband.
