While I was genuine in everything I said on the network and to my neighbors yesterday, what I want to know today is:

What the Nine Levels of Hell was that?

It's been a bit overwhelming if I'm being honest.

But you and the boys are okay, right? Anything I can do?

Yes, we're fine. I think they are enjoying it, of course. The better parts of the magic that is.

[Matt]
I'm not sure about the other magic users in the building but the sudden and drastic changes are enough to give me a headache. Like your head is in a magical wind tunnel.

How are you? Would you be up for a visit? As much as the boys might want to come, I'm afraid it would just be me. And maybe something warm and comforting with a side of chocolate cake.

Oh, to be that kind of young again. Or in the first place.

[Wanda]

Ugh, that sounds terrible. I've had that feeling in my head a couple of times. So not fun.

I'm okay, all things considered. It's stopped hurting to move all the time. Just some of the time now. ha-ha

Maybe I can hang out with them the next time you come over. I'd never turn you away on your own, however. Is that "something warm and comforting" you? Are we talking food or drink or you? Either way, I'm definitely in.

It would be nice sometimes, wouldn't it?

[Matt]

There was a slight difference when I first arrived but since the demon attacked, there's been a significant change in the balance. Maybe it's residual from the various power sources.

Do you need anything? Medicine? Braces? Unfortunately, I don't think my magic has any actual healing properties. There are others who do, though? Have you considered it?

I can stop in once I get the boys to bed. I'm sure I can get someone to keep an eye on them for a bit. Food and drink, of course. I have a few bottles of wine that were gifted from a very kind neighbor that I'd like to share.

It really, really would.

[Wanda]

Magic is not my forte, but can the various users thereof get together to find some kind of balance? Would that help in the slightest?

Considered? Yes. Done anything about asking? No. I'm not trying to be any kind of martyr, but people who can heal have been through enough. I don't want to add to it.

That said, do you think you could check the bandage around my ribs and make sure it's secure? I can never quite do it right on my own.

I promise it's not just an excuse to be shirtless around you.

Sounds like a good plan. Tell them good night from me when you do. They're very good boys, and I admire their willingness to help. And pass my thanks on that thoughtful neighbor, too. Ha-ha.
