I know what you mean about not being a possibility. Don't tell her I told you, but Nat can't have kids biologically....and I don't think I can, either. Not after the shit they did to me. So, Becca was a surprise until we found out she was adopted. Made a lot more sense then.

But, whatever happens in the future, whatever is to come - it's not worth dwelling on it if we can't help it, right? I don't need a pep talk. I just needed to feel less alone in how I mourn.

I am glad you have this for you. You and Natasha. So many of us go through so much and we complain about the weird that happens around here but it is the most peace many of us have experienced in a long time.

When I go home, I die. I become Strigoi. That should have already happened but I ended up here instead. And I will torture Rose. That is what my future holds. I am trying desperately to hang on to the knowledge that good comes out of it but I am failing.

The fact that your daughter comes from here is promising at least. That perhaps you both do get to stay and have that for yourselves that far into our futures.

You know I relate to that, having already lived through death, and then being brought back as a killer. ~~I remember all.~~ I don't know how I would have reacted if I'd known it was coming back then.
