Daddy is taking me to the Match so I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there. And if anyone is interested on putting a little money on the game, be subtle in front of my dad. He doesn't know about the cards and dice and such. When he hears I play cards he assumes Snap or Bridge. I'd like to let him keep that illusion please.

I got so excited when I heard there was a thing going on this weekend! But then I found out it was just about sports and junk. Ew. One time my mother took me to a football game for the high school and it was the most boring thing I've ever done in my whole life. Although I did get to eat nachos, that was exciting, I guess. Are there going to be nachos at this thing that's happening?

When: The 21st of August. Morning.

Hey everybody, today's the big day and all of that, so I suppose I should probably be the first to say 'GO USA'! But also, I'm going to wish you all a fun excursion, just make sure it's also safe. Which I'm sure it will, since there's obviously going to be no alcohol, drugs, smoking, sex, or gambling at this family-friendly event. Obviously. Of course there won't be.

Still... you know, just for sanity's sake, be safe.

Not sure I'll be going, there's a lot of work to be done here at home.

Also, today, all fries are Freedom Fries, and I have purchased two baguettes and burned them.

Well, like so many of my fellow classmates, I made the mistake of ignoring this journal. It ate one of my favourite books of classical sheet music, so I suppose I've learned my lesson. You would think they would be able to find a way to spell them so they don't eat books. It just seems like such a waste, not to mention rather cannibalistic.

Despite my parent's wishes, Fawn and I are not going to be going to the game this weekend, however we'll likely be able to see the fireworks go up, depending on who wins. I don't follow quidditch, but I'm rather hoping it's France, simply because they're the underdog.
