The five Viper CAP from the Avalon flew slowly through the void followed closely by a Raptor. Sitting in the lead ship Achillies monitored the DRADUS for any contacts while keeping an eye on the other four Vipers. He had started to pull the more junior pilots from his squadron for CAPS and patrols to give them as much experience as he could. He wanted to make sure that the Death Angels were the best squadron in the fleet, and this was the best way he knew how.
