April had been switching between the same sets of clothes since she had arrived. Not that she had a problem with that - back home she would have been lucky if she hadn't worn the same clothes twice in a row - but she needed a better wardrobe if she was going to be living in an enclosed space with other people.

Searching through the closet, she pulled out the freshest clothes she could find - she hadn't washed her clothes for a few days, because someone kept filling the washing machine with their clothes before she could get to it - and did her best to make the ensemble work. Then, grabbing one of her roommates' spare jackets, she left the house and made her way to the mall.
