Who: Rosalie, Shiloh, and Aaron
What: Looking for the absentee resident of 1007
Where: 1st floor
When: After this and this.
Warnings: None, as of yet.
Knowing that she had upset Daniel too much to have an effective talk with him anymore, Rosalie followed Jude’s directions and left the roof to find Singer, taking with her the bag with the alcohol. She was positive that she hadn’t gotten everything, but since she was also planning a return trip- with reinforcements- then whatever bottles were still lying around would have to wait.
By the time she reached her apartment, Rosalie’s plan of action was to get Singer and return immediately to the roof, where Daniel would hopefully be sleeping. They could finish cleaning the place up so that by the time he woke up, there would be nothing he could do but deal with it. She realized that unfortunately, Jude did have a point: Daniel wasn’t going to recover unless he wanted to. Which, at the moment, seemed unlikely. But hopefully Singer could help with that problem, and either way, Rosalie wasn’t about to let him just drink himself away while he was supposed to be recovering.
Depositing the trash bag in her room, to be dealt with later, she quickly made her way up to the tenth floor, where she was surprised to find Singer’s door completely open and no one inside the apartment. The hallway was deserted as well, and Rosalie couldn’t stop her rising sense of foreboding. Empty. And then she thought of Daniel’s wounds and wondered if maybe whoever had caused them had come back for Singer too.
Frantically, she thought to who Singer knew and her panicked thoughts settled on Shane and 601. Shutting the door to 1007, she rushed to the stairs, where she was immediately confronted with a knife. Why was there a knife? Turning away blindly, she hopped into the elevator without thinking, and by the time she realized how stupid that was, it had deposited her on the first floor and refused to budge.
