As much as I'm sure none of us really wants to relive what happened the other day, in the interest of figuring everything out as much as this building will make that possible, you're going to have to humor me. I'm sure it'll be of great interest to a lot of you, anyway, to know exactly what's happened, what you missed, and what your currently-hospitalized loved ones may have gone through.

What I know so far is that people have gone to Chicago, early 1929; Russia, 1917; and France, likely 1789. I know that people have gotten hurt, sometimes badly, because of this. If you could say where you went, what you saw, what you did because I've been doing some research and I'm seeing things that aren't right, so I'm curious as to what the hell you all did, and who you were with, and if they were hospitalized or not, I'll compile a list and send it out later if everyone's interested. If anybody has anything complied already, I'd like a look at it.

If you don't want other people to know, just send it to me privately and I'll be sure to credit you as 'anonymous'. I can keep secrets, unlike some people. And don't complain at me about probing too deep into anything and being a nosy bastard. It's pointless, this is helpful, and complaining isn't going to change anything.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, disregard this. If you have no idea what I'm talking about and you're new to this building, nice to meet you. I suggest you move out as soon as possible.

I've watched enough science fiction movies with Peter to know it wouldn't matter if I tried. Or if I did change anything, it would only make matters worse overall. But the desire was certainly there.

I suppose I should feel glad that we haven't ruined anything. I only wish that things hadn't ended so badly for them the first time around.

Peter? You mean

I was tempted to try and change a few things myself, or at least take advantage of what was there. Fortunately I spent most of my time in jail or being chased by the police, and couldn't.

If things had gone a different way, we might not be living in the current world. This building might never have been created. Who knows? I don't like dealing with potential futures, rather than what I know happened.

Might I ask where you taken? Or perhaps the correct phrasing is when you were taken to? I'm curious as to what you could have taken advantage of. And why were you in jai

Would it be so terrible if the building never Although none of us would have ever I think I might be feeling too disheartened that I now have proof that certain things, no matter how terrible, remain inevitable. That there is really no "if I could go back and change this one thing", because it all happened as it originally did. Perhaps as it was always meant to.

Chicago, early 1929. Before the stock market crash. Frankly, I'm surprised we weren't sent to fend for ourselves after all the insanity started.

That plays on the idea that things are fated to happen, though. As much as I enjoy that nothing serious was changed, I also don't like contemplating that we're all stuck in this godforsaken hellhole because we were meant to.

Maybe the building was trying to cut you a break. Wishful thinking, probably.

You don’t think there was something guiding us here all along?

How kind of it. I'm so relieved. Honestly.

I don't want to, no.

Wanting to wasn't the question.

Then no, I don't believe that's the case. I don't believe in fate, and I don't believe in this place ruling my life until I get here and then screwing with it after I do.

I'm glad to hear that. And thank you for answering.
