The master list is being compiled. I, unfortunately, have been in bed with a migraine that started Sunday afternoon. Blargh. I still have so many posts to read and review. Please do not think that I have been ignoring all of the hard work you all did. I expect to have made progress with the reviewing and the master list by this weekend.

I've been asked by a few people *cough*almost all of the participants*cough* if we are doing this again next year. I've heard we need to do it once a year and then I've heard every six months. So I come to you and ask so I know what the hell I'm doing. *G*

Bring Back the Porn was born from a comment made after the LJ censorship issues went, in my opinion, completely over the top. It was a way for Fandom to take back what was ours. After reading all of the comments and results of the poll and adding my view into the mix, I have decided that Bring Back the Porn will run annually on 1 September. To run it biannually would diminish the reason it was started.

BBtP will continue to be done in the free-for-all manner as it started. The only guidelines to adhere to will be posting a link to bbtp_challenge for fics/art/music/etc posted on 1 September. No prompts, no word counts, no specific fandom. It was fun and that was the goal.

Now, that said, I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed having such a large collection of fandoms participating in a joint event. That was huge, people. *g* I like the idea of having a fandom wide fest in March that (a) would be similar to BBtP, (b) would keep fostering the interfandom friendships, and (c) would help in keeping the idea of BBtP out there. To that end, I have created ides_of_march.

Unlike bbtp_challenge, where the posts were almost all hard R to NC17, ides_of_march will be a little less focused on the porn. Not that I'll turn porn away, mind. *cheeky grin* The posting frenzy for ides_of_march is… well, yeah, March 15th. The actual details still have to be hammered out.

There will be more information about ides_of_march out soon. I just wanted everyone to know what was going on and such. *goes back to masterlisting 200 porny fics now*
