Vamp City

After her night with Eric Lilah had a meeting a few days later with the Senior Partners. They wanted her to offer her legal services to Eric,because they thought he could be very useful to the company,of course they wouldn't tell her how.

So she was spending yet another night hanging out at Fangtasia in order to see Eric. Normally assignments like this bugged the hell out of her,this one however Lilah found wasn't so bad. It helped immensely that Lilah actually liked Eric and found him interesting, more so than the vampires she was used to dealing with. She ordered a drink at the bar and sat back doing some people watching.

After telling Pam to make sure that everything was going to be taken care of, Eric walked back out and smiled at Lilah. “If you’re ready, we can head out now,” he said to her. He was certainly looking forward to getting to know the lawyer much better. It wouldn’t be a bad thing for him to have a lawyer from Wolfram & Hart in his pocket, plus she was interesting. It was rare to find a regular human willing to work for such a…dark organization. He knew that humans liked to pretend that they were better than vampires, but he knew the truth. He knew that they were very much alike, whether they wanted to admit to it or not.

“So, what of Shreveport would you like to see first?” he asked her. “It’s not quite the metropolis that Los Angeles is, but it certainly has its own charm.” He knew that he wouldn’t want to try having a vampire bar in a city as large as LA. At least in Shreveport, it was big enough to be anonymous, but small enough that you could still easily figure out who the best people to know and control were.

It had been a few nights before Lilah came back to fangtasia just for the drinks and the atmosphere. In a weird way it reminded her a bit of Caritas only minus the no violence rule. She walked in and took a seat at the bar, it wasn't long before she had a vodka martini in front of her. She took a few sips of it before she felt someone standing next to her. She turned and saw it was Mr. Northman. Oh yeah she'd spent some of her down time at the new office doing her homework on him.

She smiled and turned in her seat drink in hand. "Mr. Northman.." Lilah'd managed to find the base specifics on Eric, like how he was a viking prince next in line for the throne,but never really wanted the crown then. She knew that a vampire named Godric was his maker, and Pam was his child. About the only thing Lilah didn't know about one Eric Northman it was his age,although she had a rough idea of how old he was.

Fangtasia could only get so interesting for Eric on most nights. Sure, it was amusing to kick someone in the face after them asking if they could lick his boot, but even that was only fun for a few minutes before it wore off. Tonight didn't even seem to have anything like that. Tonight seemed to be more of a night for tourists to come in instead of for either fang bangers or just anyone interesting to come in.

Eric watched the crowd from his chair, and was just about ready to head to his back office for the night when a brunette walked in through the door and caught his eye. For one, she didn't look familiar, and new was always interesting. She didn't look like either a tourist or a banger, though. Neither tended to wear business suits, especially ones as expensive looking as she was wearing. His eyes followed her as she entered the bar. Well, his night had certainly perked up a bit.
