It's okay, since it doesn't seem like these lodgings are free. Neither are the hundreds of pizzas you and Drax seemed to have ordered, so a job is necessary to pay for these things. I hope to get one too, once I...change my appearance.

But trying out everything sounds nice.

...you know, I don't think I've paid rent once. I'm pretty sure this is just one of a million places Stark has. He calls it employee housing, so I just go with it.

You know..you used to work for him too. Security. Non-lethal kind. Maybe you could work for him again. Want me to ask?

No? That's kinda not how things work on Earth. Police get really pissy when you stab people. Remember -- this is a totally backwards tech planet. They don't even have bandage sprays or nothing. It's lame. I had to use a band-aid with the picture of Hello Kitty.

I mean, a lot has changed since I was 10...but it's still a good place. Bacon exists which is all that matters.


And cool! He told me I can have all the time I want. Think a week is good? That's like 5 standard days -- the days are shorter here.

Yep, sure do. We're always hiring security people. You'd be surprised how many rival tech corporations try to sneak in and steal stuff. If you want to non-lethally scare them from doing it again? Go for it.

Indeed, I can. As it is but a simple matter, there is no cost. It will remain permanent as well, unless some dire circumstance befalls me. Naturally, I'd rather avoid that.
