I flipped out too. I know now it was more like you were sitting at the wheel with someone else backseat driving you like a puppeteer with crazy strings all over...ok, stopping again. There's like ten million analogies that'd fit into that three-ring circus of unfun, but what I'm really trying to say is I get the gist of it now.

You couldn't say no, and someone else wanted them gone. That's not on you. It's on some other bastard I'd like to hunt down and give them a free facial reconstruction with my fist.

I didn’t expect you too, and I appreciate that, but as someone whose recooperating with triggers as well—the last thing you need right now is to see is my face unless necessary.

But if you ever need anything, you can ask it. I know it won’t fix things. But I’ll do what I can.

I get it. I know. Wide circle around each other. I still have to talk to Cap too. If shit really goes down? I'm not about to play beggars and choosers about who shows up to help kick some ass.

So. I'll do what I can too. You need help, like legal or whatever? Ask. If not me directly, if that gets too weird, ask Cap or Pepper.

Might be weird at first, but Cap and I will get it all sorted out. Sometimes friends fight, right? I'm good at that. I've been getting better with burying the hatchet lately.

We all say we're going to try to swerve around it, but legal crap happens. If it does, you can tell Cap or contact Pepper Potts. Future wife, CEO of my company. Our company. She runs it. If for whatever reason you can't get ahold of them, or Strange, post a SOS on the network and the network's operating system will send me an alert.

Or maybe it will be one day? Whatever. Wide circles and comfort zones.

Thanks! Uh? I know it's weird. But. If Cap's coming to the wedding, no reason you can't go either. Sure, maybe you'd be more comf sticking in the backrow or wherever, and that's ok. There's gonna be a metric ass ton of people and I invited that Wong guy here an I only knew him for 10 seconds while we were fighting Squidward from Outer Space.

Don't say no! Just think about it. Cap might need a buddy, but I know a lot of people might make it overwhelming too.
