I'm really sorry to bother you again but Peter and I got to the conclusion that we're not going anywhere fast and we need to start thinking realistically about being "real people" on this planet. We need a place to live, jobs, all the papers people have and we thought we'd ask you for help. I know you got more than you bargained for when you tried saving the world already, but we know Stark's going through a serious thing and we don't really know anyone else all that well. Anything you can help with or point us to would be really appreciated.

It's a shame that Stark is in his present state. His funding, connections, and resources were invaluable. ~~Now that I'm done being irritated at him~~ I know it was inevitable, given that specific set of circumstances. He did tell me, during one of his less obsessive moments, that Mr. Barnes on the network was asking if anyone else needed credentials. You can trust him. Once you have the identification and paperwork you need, it will be much easier to find even a temporary job or to sign a lease for housing.

How much of your combined funds do you have left?

And. Uh. I don't usually recommend this, since you have to be wary of scam artists...but have you tried Craig's list?

Alright I will contact Barnes, thank you. I don't know how much money we have left, I've spent on clothes (nothing too crazy), food, transportation and not much else - don't know about Peter but I can ask. I know real estate is expensive in this city though.

I haven't yet, but I can. Do they take undocumented workers? I'm worried about what kind of people would.

Stark seems to have a habit of "screwing" himself over on a regular basis and then rising from the ashes like a eccentric phoenix. For this specific situation, I think his last network statement was that the lawyers were working on it. Given his past "cooperation" and heroic efforts, I can only assume they'll have his situation sorted out, shortly.

It seems that new arrivals have slowed down. Let's see what we can do in the meantime, until Stark's situation is sorted out.

I wouldn't recommend that. Contact Mr. Barnes if you can, and if not, we'll see about securing another month's stay and funding for you and Peter while this is sorted out. Are you two...uhh...in separate rooms?

Anything I can do to help. I've accepted we're not going anywhere soon so. I'd like to establish a good rapport with everyone.

I texted him, I'm sure the ID stuff will be taken care of. We'll check for jobs later.

Yes we are. But we've decided for the sake of our finances we don't mind one bedroom. Or none, apparently that's a thing too. We'll manage.

I'm hoping his track record stays firmly in the 'not screwing over anyone' side of the spectrum. I think we all know that he means well. Most of the time.

If you're not already sharing a room and don't mind doing so, I might be able to consolidate enough finances that you can make a down payment on something, until Stark can be consulted on what to do from there. I don't want to impose on either of you, but it may free things up a little bit.
